Richard Mafuriranwa is a seasoned and accredited social work professional with over five years of experience in mental health, drug and alcohol rehabilitation, and aged care. Armed with a Master’s degree in Social Work and a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology and Journalism, Richard blends academic rigor with a profound understanding of social systems, offering holistic, evidence-based interventions. His qualifications extend to multiple diplomas and certifications earned through Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL), including diplomas in Counselling, Youth Work, Business, Leadership and Management, Community Services, and Advanced Community Sector Management, as well as a Certificate IV in Mental Health.

In addition to his professional expertise, Richard serves as a Pastor, Educator, Life Coach, and Mentor, demonstrating his dedication to promoting personal growth, social justice, and inclusivity. He is committed to empowering individuals and communities, providing therapeutic support and fostering positive change. Currently residing in Perth, Western Australia, with his wife and children, Richard continues his impactful work in mental health and community services, making a significant contribution to the well-being of those he serves.
